The Singapore Sling is an exotic gin cocktail that was invented around 1915 in the legendary Raffles Hotel in Singapore. With cherry liqueur, pineapple juice and a wealth of flavors, it is fruity, complex and colorful. A drink with history that still conjures up a holiday mood in the glass.

Instructions

  1. Add gin, cherry liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice and Cointreau to the shaker.
  2. Add a dash of Angostura Bitters.
  3. Shake vigorously with ice until foam forms.
  4. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cocktail cherry and serve.
