The Saturn is a rare tiki classic that unusually is based on gin instead of rum. Passion fruit, falernum and orgeat give it a complex, tropical sweetness balanced by fresh lemon juice. A fruity exotic drink for bold cocktail lovers.

Instructions

  1. Add gin, lemon juice, passion fruit syrup, falernum and orgeat to a blender.
  2. Add a handful of crushed ice.
  3. Blend briefly for about 5 seconds (flash blend).
  4. Pour into a coupe.
  5. Garnish with a spiral-cut lemon zest and serve.

Garnish: Lemon zest in a spiral

Pro tip: Briefly blend the Saturn with crushed ice in a blender (flash blend) so it gets the typical frosty texture and tropical creaminess.
