The Greenpoint is a modern classic from Brooklyn and an elegant Manhattan twist. Rye whiskey meets the herbal sweetness of Yellow Chartreuse and vermouth, rounded off by two kinds of bitters. Spicy, complex and perfect for winding down the evening.
Instructions
- Add the rye whiskey, Yellow Chartreuse and sweet vermouth to a mixing glass.
- Add both bitters.
- Fill up with plenty of ice cubes and stir cold for about 20 seconds.
- Strain into a pre-chilled coupe.
- Express a lemon zest over the glass and drop it in as garnish.
Garnish: Lemon zest
Pro tip: Yellow Chartreuse brings the herbal note - the somewhat milder version of the bold Green Chartreuse. Stir well over ice rather than shaking, to keep the spirits clear.
