The Cynar Spritz is the herbal, bitter alternative to the sweet Aperol Spritz and uses the artichoke liqueur Cynar as its base. With prosecco and soda it becomes a light, less sweet aperitivo with a fine bitter note.
Instructions
- Fill a large wine glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the Cynar over the ice.
- Fill up with prosecco.
- Add a splash of soda and stir briefly.
- Garnish with an orange slice and an olive and serve.
Garnish: Orange slice and olive
Pro tip: Add an olive alongside the orange - the salty note brings out the Cynar Spritz even better.
