The Chartreuse Swizzle is a modern tiki classic that tames the intensely herbal Green Chartreuse with pineapple, lime and falernum. Swizzled icy over crushed ice, the strong monastery liqueur becomes a refreshing, complex summer drink.

Instructions

  1. Fill the highball about halfway with crushed ice.
  2. Add Green Chartreuse, pineapple juice, lime juice and falernum.
  3. Swizzle vigorously with a swizzle stick until the glass frosts over.
  4. Top up to the rim with more crushed ice.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig and a little grated nutmeg and serve.

Garnish: Mint sprig and grated nutmeg

Pro tip: Swizzle instead of shake - twirl a swizzle stick between your palms until the outside of the glass frosts over completely.
