The Whiskey Daisy is an elegant vintage sour: whiskey, fresh lemon, fruity grenadine and a hint of orange liqueur, rounded off with a splash of soda. A classic regarded as the historical forerunner of the Margarita.
Instructions
- Add whiskey, lemon juice, grenadine and orange liqueur with ice to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
- Top up with a small splash of soda water.
- Garnish with orange twist and cocktail cherry and serve.
