The Whiskey Daisy is an elegant vintage sour: whiskey, fresh lemon, fruity grenadine and a hint of orange liqueur, rounded off with a splash of soda. A classic regarded as the historical forerunner of the Margarita.

Instructions

  1. Add whiskey, lemon juice, grenadine and orange liqueur with ice to the shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Top up with a small splash of soda water.
  5. Garnish with orange twist and cocktail cherry and serve.
