The Kentucky Mule is the bourbon version of the famous Moscow Mule. Instead of vodka, spicy bourbon comes into play, which together with sharp ginger beer and fresh lime makes a zesty, warming longdrink. Served in a copper mug it is a real eye-catcher.

Instructions

  1. Fill the copper mug with ice cubes.
  2. Add bourbon and lime juice.
  3. Top up with well-chilled ginger beer.
  4. Stir briefly.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge and a little mint.

Garnish: Lime wedge and mint

Pro tip: The classic copper mug keeps the drink especially cold for a long time. Use real ginger beer instead of ginger ale - it is sharper and spicier.
