The Final Ward is the spicy whiskey answer to the legendary Last Word: rye, green Chartreuse, maraschino and lemon in equal parts. Complex, herbal-spicy and perfectly balanced - a modern classic for connoisseurs.

Instructions

  1. Add rye whiskey, green Chartreuse, maraschino and lemon juice to the shaker.
  2. Add plenty of ice cubes.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  4. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.
  5. Garnish with a cocktail cherry and serve.

Garnish: Cocktail cherry

Pro tip: Measure all four ingredients in exactly equal parts - the balance depends on the precise equal-parts split.
