Frequently asked questions
Where does the Between the Sheets come from?
The cocktail probably emerged in the 1930s and is considered a stronger version of the Sidecar, with the addition of white rum.
Which cognac works best?
A mild VS or VSOP cognac works well, as it blends harmoniously with the rum without dominating.
Can I mix the drink without triple sec?
Triple sec is central to the flavor. Another orange liqueur works as a substitute, but you should not leave it out entirely.
