The Gin Sling is one of the oldest documented mixed drinks and the simple ancestor of many famous slings. Gin, a little sugar, fresh lemon and soda make a light, thirst-quenching longdrink. Exactly the right choice for a warm afternoon.
Instructions
- Add gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup to a shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously for about 12 seconds.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes.
- Top up with soda and stir briefly.
- Garnish with a lemon twist and serve.
