The Kamikaze is a zesty vodka shot that became popular in the United States in the 1970s. Mixed in equal parts, the ingredients vodka, Triple Sec and lime juice make a balanced, sour and fresh drink. As a popular party shot it quickly gets the mood going.

Instructions

  1. Add vodka, Triple Sec and lime juice to the shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for about ten seconds.
  3. Strain the drink through a sieve into one or two shot glasses.
  4. Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.
  5. Drink the shot quickly in one go.
