The Kamikaze is a zesty vodka shot that became popular in the United States in the 1970s. Mixed in equal parts, the ingredients vodka, Triple Sec and lime juice make a balanced, sour and fresh drink. As a popular party shot it quickly gets the mood going.
Instructions
- Add vodka, Triple Sec and lime juice to the shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously for about ten seconds.
- Strain the drink through a sieve into one or two shot glasses.
- Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.
- Drink the shot quickly in one go.
