How to make a Vodka Collins - the zesty longdrink of vodka, lemon, sugar syrup and soda. The refreshing vodka version of the classic Tom Collins.
The Vodka Collins is the vodka version of the classic Tom Collins and a refreshing summer longdrink. Vodka, fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup are combined with sparkling soda into a light, zesty drink. Thanks to the neutral vodka it tastes especially mild and approachable.
Instructions
- Put vodka, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake for about 10 seconds.
- Fill a highball glass with fresh ice cubes.
- Strain the mixture into the glass.
- Top up with soda and stir briefly.
- Garnish with a lemon slice and a cocktail cherry.
