The Snakebite is a British pub classic of equal parts lager beer and cider, often refined with a splash of blackcurrant into a Snakebite and Black. Easy-drinking, slightly fruity and inseparably linked to British pub culture.

Instructions

  1. Hold a pint glass at a slight angle.
  2. First fill the glass halfway with the lager beer.
  3. Top up slowly with the cider along the side of the glass.
  4. If desired, add a splash of blackcurrant syrup.
  5. Serve carefully without foaming too much.
